Hey, I’m Jed, the person behind PADZ.

I’m based in Bournemouth, and for the last 10+ years, dogs have been a huge part of my life, especially sighthounds. If you know anything about them, you’ll know they’re fast, intelligent, and independent… which also makes them one of the most challenging types of dogs to train properly.

But everything I do today really started from one moment.

💔 Why PADZ Exists

A few years ago, my dog was attacked and killed at just 2 years old.

It’s not something you ever expect to happen. And it’s definitely not something you forget.

That experience forced me to take a hard look at dog ownership, training, and responsibility, not just in others, but in myself too.

From that point on, I made a decision:

👉 I wasn’t going to be passive anymore
👉 I wasn’t going to “hope for the best” on walks
👉 And I wasn’t going to rely on surface-level training

I wanted complete understanding, control, and reliability, in real-world environments where it actually matters.

PADZ was built from that promise.

There’s a lot of noise in the dog world.

Trends.
Conflicting advice.
“Quick fixes.”

That’s not what I do.

My approach is built around:

• Clear communication - your dog should understand exactly what’s expected
• Consistency - behaviour doesn’t improve without it
• Real-world application - not just training in your living room
• Accountability - your dog needs a leader, not guesswork

Because the truth is…
